PVC:

The PVC pipes will be making up the main arch structure of our project (Frame of the Structure). On the link below, the PVC Pipes that are 1-1.5 in x 10 ft 300 Sch 400, cost between $3.90 (2ft) to $17.13 (20ft).

Sand Bags:

The sand bags will be mainly used to hold down the structure, in harsh winds or other pressure that is applied onto it that would result in it falling over. On the link below, the sand bags are 14" x 26" and are able to hold 50 pounds of sand, and cost $15.79 (Quantity of 25 Bags).

Guy Wires:

The Guy Wires will be also be used to hold down the structures, using tension to hold the structure down and together. On the link below, the guy wire is 1/16'' x 50 ft Galvanized Steel and is Uncoated (Quantity 1).

Visual Communication 

1)I think that my visual communication has grown decently throughout the last year. I still think that I have a hard time getting what I need to get down onto a sheet of paper.

2)It is used in my other classes when for example we have to make model sketches in math for shapes. I think that is easier but it is mostly used in the innovation lab. 

Design

3)From bio mimetic motion to sensory trail, I think that my design thinking has evolved positively. Early on I would make basic decisions but now I think more critically on my decisions for design ideas. 

Technical

4)I now understand how to cut things on the laser cutter, 3D printing and basically all of the tools used in the idea lab. I was once scared to ask for help on using something but I grew and I was able to do that and then i was able to get what i needed to get done in the lab and learn more tools. 

5)My last goal for the final trimester in the innovation room is to finish up the sensory trail project. I want to finish this year well and get my grade up for this class up because I think it can do better.

This may look very similar to the original Rhino File, though this file includes a much, much, smaller scale with equilateral Triangles.

We used the Virtual Models that were for our Project (Provided by Aaron), in which were a 1 to 1 scale model to the actual project. Having the Virtual Models, we got measurements of everything in the model. We resulted that it would be a total of 148.85 ft of PVC Pipe (Which is the material of our Structure). Measurements for every piece of the Structure are located in the picture above.
