TO BEGIN CONSIDER INSPIRATION

Design inspiration can come from many places. Before you begin drawing, consider what cars, objects, characters, or personalities you can draw inspiration from. Feel free to express your creativity through your design. Make it unique.

ASSEMBLE PRESENTATION SLIDES

Put together the slides that you will show as you share with the group your favorite cars and what inspiration you can draw from them. Here is an example of what that slide could look like, along with your verbal presentation.

Porsche 804

"One of my favorite cars is the Porsche 804 because of its minimal simplicity. The Porsche 804 was the one and only entry into F1 racing that Porsche ever attempted in 1962. The inspiration that I believe that I can take from this car is it's pill-shaped body that seems very aerodynamic"

PRACTICE SKETCHING

As your research your inspiration or "precedent" car designs, you can spend time sketching the design in its entirety or just a small part of the design.

In the last 30 minutes of studio, we will each practice public speaking by presenting what you like about your chosen car.
